Technology Specialist Autonomy Support

About The Role:


Reporting into the TROC (Technology Remote Operations Centre) Superintendent, you will
provide first point of contact for Autonomous Systems incidents associate with trucks and drills
Your key accountabilities will include:
Lead. coordinate and communicate major incidents resolution and follow up minor incidents
resolution ensuring that are properly closed.
 Ensure the correct incidents documentation with Autonomy Incident Management
Team.
 Follow up root cause analysis (RCA) investigation and problems resolution
associate.
 Ensure that major incidents lessons learned are correctly documented, shared, and
included as part of the operations teams BAU activities.
 Coordinate and support troubleshooting activities with technology support teams.
 Interact with autonomy operators, Mine Maintenance teams, Autonomy OEM,
 TROC teams, Service desk and Autonomy Incident Management Team.
 Proactive monitoring & event management to maintain critical Autonomy systems
availability.
 Provide proactive EUC support to autonomy site control room.
 Continues improvement management together with Autonomy Incident
Management Team.
 Keep updated the monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Magnet autonomy
dashboards, and others. With the network components as needed (changing as
business required).
 Rapidly provide break-fix solutions or escalate to autonomy support teams to
restore production system availability following outages.
 Engaging sites and TROC operation stakeholders during events, incidents, and
changes or planned maintenance activities
 Applying effective risk controls to identify potential threats and minimize or
remove a business impact
 Participate in the planning and testing of disaster recovery and IT service continuity for
Production Systems applications and infrastructure
About You:

You will be an excellent team player who can also work in a stand-alone capacity
Your oral and written communication skills well developed. and you will be able to work
collaboratively and build relationships at all levels.

As the preferred candidate, you will be a person that is a highly logical thinker and possesses
excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills (Including root-cause analysis), with the
ability to coordinate teams in the incident's resolutions, prioritizing effectively in a high-pressure
environment Familiarity with work management is advantageous, as is experience supporting or
implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Tertiary qualification or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Networking,


Applications, or related discipline (or an equivalent level of industry experience in a large
enterprise environment) or exceptional experience in IT/OT mining environment leading large
operational teams
 A minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles is required
 IT Infrastructure Library, ITIL v3 or higher certification is required.
 Technical experience in Fleet Management Systems, Network Administration and Production
Automation will be highly regarded
 Technical experience in the installation, configuration and support of end user equipment.
 Experience interacting with different lines of service and internal/external resolver groups.
 Experience in industrial environment (networks, control systems, instrumentation)
 Administrator skills level for Solarwinds, Magnet. Splunk, ELK.
 Syslog and event management for Microsoft.
 Information security best practices experience. IS027001, 6027002, COVIT, NIST.
 ISA95 foundations understanding.
 Fluent verbal and written Spanish Advanced verbal/written English

Desirable:

 General background in autonomous mining fleet (related) implementation (Trucks and Drills)
based on Komatsu, Caterpillar and Epiroc solutions.
 CCNA o CCNP certification

 Wireless network certification for Cisco and Nokia in Mesh and LTE
Technologies.
 Experience in wireless networks, Masterlink Cisco Mesh, LTE
 Experience in safety mining fleet technological systems. (Navigating assistance and ant
somnolence on board (Trucks)
