permits both individuals to share their experiences and those in distress freely without the fear of
rejection or stigmatization. Illustrating personal stories and debunking stigma people can give a
human face to mental illness and manifest that treating mental illness is not weakness, but
strength.

health care professionals, advocacy groups and the community at large. Measures aimed at
increasing tangible services, creating early detection and prevention measures and integrating
mental health in the school curriculums are imperative steps on the path to a society that is better

among others establishing them promotes discrimination and expulsion. With affecting
heartfulness and understanding, we can cultivate the atmosphere where people could be secure
and comfortable to demand help and reveal their hardships connected to mental health without
any of being afraid to become punished or judged.

major obstacles that stand when it comes to people understanding themselves and other people
