They say beauty can be seen in its appearance, but for me beauty can be seen in the efforts and

its
uniqueness to the eyes of the people. This activity is our first performance in creative writing, I
remembered this because this is the time where I tried again to draw. In the first week of being a grade 12,
we are instructed to create a vignette depicting a story of a girl wandering in the woods. To be honest, my
passion in creating art faded many years ago. But this time, my passion in creating art ignites again.
This activity excites my passion in making an art, with numerous experiences in participating in some
competition like collage making, cartooning, poster making and the like, this activity helps me to
remember my experiences in exploring to the world of art. In the advent of pandemic, I’ve lost confidence
in creating art because I became addicted to technology, but this activity serves as an opening eye for me
to explore again the realm of creativity. Though for me this is not the best art that I’ve created, for me this
is the art that impacted me the most leading to be passionate again as an artist not just on canvas but also
through technological medium.
All in all, I’ve learned that art is not just the beauty of appearance, but it is also the beauty of efforts and
passion of the creator in making a masterpiece. Sometimes we lose passion for the things that make us
happy, but you must remember that these things help you to develop yourself, prove your excellence and
serve as your weapon overcoming sadness. Remember that passion is not just about the dedication and
efforts in the things that you are good at, but passion is also the consistency of excellence and love in
cultivating it and using it for the greater good.
