Arteries transport blood from the heart throughout


the body to provide energy and respiration.
Veins transport blood to the heart from the body in
order for there to be a higher available supply of bl
ood for the heart to pump. Capillaries act as a hub
for exchange of molecules in/out of the bloodstream
as they have very thin walls helping increase the co
ncentration gradient and time for diffusion/rate.
