BACKGROUND:The school ordered uniforms in three batches to give to new Lower 6 learners.the first
batch had 30 jerseys,25 trcksuites,26 neckties and 35 sunhats.The second batch had 45 jerseys,60
tracksuites,32 neckties and 40 sunhats.In the third batch they have to make sure that each one of the
120 learners enrolled has each uniform component.

THE CALA

This CALA consists of 4 parts A,B,C and D.You are to respond to them all.

PART A

Represent the number of jerseys,tracksuites,neckties and sunhats in matrix form for each of the first
two batches.

PART B

Find the sum of jerseys ,tracksuites,neckties and sunhats to be ordered in the two batches.

PART C

Find the remaining number of jerseys,tracksuites,neckties and sunhats to be ordered.

PART D

If in any of the three batches ,2 neckties and 3 sunhats cost $28 and a necktie plus 5 hats cost $35, find
the cost of one necktie and one sunhat.
