... A consistent rise in carbon dioxide, water vapour, methane, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons emissions has
worsened climate change and its consequences on human health (Prasad et al., 2021). These are often identified as
significant risk factors which predispose individuals to multiple health conditions such as respiratory infections,
cardiovascular disease, and lung cancer (Choudhary, 2013) . Symptoms and conditions such as eye irritation, skin
disease, nausea and cardiovascular infection are identified as short-term effects of poor air quality (Paramesh,
2019;Sentian et al., 2019). ...
... Symptoms and conditions such as eye irritation, skin disease, nausea and cardiovascular infection are identified as
short-term effects of poor air quality (Paramesh, 2019;Sentian et al., 2019). Cardiopulmonary disease could occur as a
result of constant binding of particulate matter with free radicals in the air (Choudhary, 2013) . Individuals who are
exposed to fine and coarse aerosol particles that reach the lung's alveoli are associated with high genotoxic potential. ...
... This declines the quality of air as well as increases the frequencies of fog and haze (Batterman et al., 2015). The
release of toxic chemicals, particulate matter, and biological materials into the environment result in discomfort, damage
or death to humans and other living organisms (Choudhary, 2013) . It is broadly understood that air pollution within the
atmosphere, exists either in solid, liquid or gaseous phase and it has destructive effects and alteration in the natural
features of the atmosphere. ...

... Unfortunately, these alterations have led to an increase in air pollution, impacting humans and plant life negatively.
The concerning shift is gradually making the Earth's atmosphere less conducive to the well-being of both humans and
other living organisms (Choudhary & Garg, 2013) . Addressing these challenges is crucial for a more optimistic
environmental future. ...

... Air pollution is the contamination of the air by harmful or excessive quantities of substances such as gases,
particulates, and biological materials (Vallero, 2014). Air pollution can be caused by both natural and human activities
(Choudhary and Garg, 2013) , arises from tiny particles released from burning biomass, improper fossil fuel combustion
and dust stirred up by traffic, and comes from roads, soil, dust, sea salt, and even biological materials (Chantara et al.,
2009). Air pollution can have a number of negative health effects, including respiratory problems, heart disease, stroke,
cancer and premature death (Kampa and Castanas, 2008). ...

... In the twenty-first century, one of the biggest challenges is air pollution, not only at global scale but also at local and
regional levels (6).Air pollution occurs when gases, dust particles, fumes (or smoke) or odours are introduced into the
atmosphere in a way that makes it harmful to humans, animals and plants (7) .Air pollution is the presence of one or
more substances at a concentration above their natural levels, with the potential to produce an adverse effect (45).Air
Pollution is one of the serious problems in the world, especially in urban areas of developing countries due to rapid
growth of population, increase in the number of vehicles and industrialization (19). The World Health Organisation
(WHO) has recognised ambient air pollution as a class one carcinogen and the fourth highest risk factor for premature
death worldwide (20).Worldwide, air pollution is a serious problem and it has harmful effects on human health. ...

... For actions that people are most likely to take, it is intriguing to note the emphasis on waste disposal by respondents
in both cities. There are other studies that have noted the importance of waste disposal for PAQ [78][79][80][81], but it is
interesting to see this action ranked above all other options, including energy saving and choice of transport, which often
feature prominently in the literature [35, [82] [83][84][85]. Indeed, it is encouraging to note how respondents placed
emphasis on individual action to help clean their air instead of paying the government to do it. ...

Air pollution occurs when fumes (or smoke) and dust particle gases are introduced into the atmosphere insuch a way that endangers
animal and plant. Air pollution harms the health of living beings on our planet. It causes acid rain and smog, which cause respiratory
diseases and cancer, depletes the ozone layer, andcontributes to global warming. Current study examines gaseous observations,

As per World Resources Institute (1996), World's population is around 7.06 billion and is expected to grow by 10 billion by 2030. Due
to the advancement of the industrial revolution polluted gas is pumped into the atmosphere which leads to warming of the planet earth
and a rise in sea level which may result in serious food shortage. Global warming resulting from the emission of greenhouse gases ...
