Eaton 5S features and benefits:
Ease-of-use: The 5S seamlessly integrates automatically
with native power profiles for Windows, Mac and Linux
through the plug-and-play USB management port.
User-replaceable battery: Easy to remove, the 5S
battery can be replaced when it ages, extending the life
of your 5S.
Data protection: Safeguard your work and data with the
UPS Companion software by gracefully shutting down
your equipment during power outages.
EcoControl: The 5S manages your energy efficiency for
you with EcoControl Master/Control outlets. When the
item using the Master outlet (e.g., your computer) is idle
or shut down, then items using the Control outlets (e.g.,
printer, scanner, fax) are automatically powered down —
rewarding you with up to 30 percent in energy savings
over a typical battery backup.
Convenient form factor: Fit the 5S easily into small
spaces with its slim form factor. The versatile 5S can
be used as a tower or as a desktop monitor stand.
Surge protection:
Provide surge protection for network phone lines,
cable TV and satellite applications.
Data protection
Eaton’s free UPS Companion software provides easy
configuration and UPS status notifications, while
automating graceful shutdown for your computer during a
prolonged power outage, preventing data loss.

Three-year warranty
The 5S warranty covers both the UPS and the battery for
three years.
Battery runtime
The 5S provides up to 4 minutes of high efficiency and
energy-saving battery backup and surge protection for
