Things to consider when…..

Selecting a campsite: Dumping holding tanks:

Avoid dumpsters Put on rubber gloves (Optional)


Avoid dump stations Remove RV dump cap
Avoid high traffic flow Connect sewer hose to RV dump
Avoid infringing footpaths Connect other end to sewer
Pick your neighbors Open black water valve
Avoid shared hookups Flush black water tank
Ensure room for slideouts and Close black water valve
awnings Open gray water valve
Choose shade in summer Flush gray water tank
Choose open area in winter Close gray water valve
Consider satellite reception Disconnect hose from RV
Avoid infringing streams Rinse hose with freshwater
A level site is better Elevate and drain sewer hose
Avoid stagnant water - mosquitoes Disconnect hose from RV
Rinse sewer end of hose
Connecting Electric: Rinse dump apron area

Disconnecting a Fifth Wheel:


Chock trailer wheels
Lower rear levellers
Disconnect light cord
Lower truck tailgate
Disconnect breakaway wire
Remove hitch lock
Disconnect hitch lock
Lower landing legs
Slowly drive forward
