Activity:

1. After watching the lesson, write the things that you have learned about the STS during the stone age.

After watching the lesson, I have learned that in the Stone Age, there are only two types of labor:
hunting and gathering. The first people are nomads, meaning that they never stayed at one place. Once
they discovered how to grow edible plants, they started to build the first civilization of humanity in the
prehistoric time. The tools they used are mostly stones formed and shaped into tools such as spears,
axes, arrowheads, etc.

2. Give examples of scientific advancements and technologies during the stone age on the f:

a. Education/Learning

b. Building/Engineering

C. Transportation

a. Education/Learning:

Oral Tradition: In the Stone Age, knowledge was primarily passed through oral tradition. Elders passed
down essential skills, survival techniques, and cultural practices through storytelling, ensuring the
transfer of valuable information within the community.

b. Building/Engineering:

Simple Shelters and Dwellings: Stone Age communities utilized rudimentary building techniques to
create shelters using materials like animal hides, wood, and stones. These early structures were crucial
for protection against the elements and predators.

c. Transportation:

Foot Travel: The primary mode of transportation during the Stone Age was walking. Early humans relied
on their own mobility to explore and migrate. This mode of transportation was essential for survival and
facilitated the gradual spread of human populations across different regions.
