ENAP’s 2 Refineries @105kpbd. Deployment, testing, training, and ISO 55000 processes
consulting.
• Responsible for reviewing, assessing, and updating integrity management and inspection
data for covered equipment, devices & systems (e.g., pressure systems, pipelines, structures
& safety instruments etc.) and developing program documentation, risk assessments, and
Written Schemes of Examination.
• NDT digital transformation for a 0.7Mt/yr Ethylene plant and 0,6MTn/yr polyethylene
plant. This initiative increased 25%wrench time improvement.
• Meridium® V3.4 Mechanical Integrity implementation at 100kbd refinery at Esmeraldas
Petroecuador. RBI implementation achieved a 10-day reduction in turnaround time.
• Meridium® Mechanical Integrity implementation at Pluspetrol Gas Treating facilities.
Resulting in 50% inspection budget reduction
• Implemented RCM and RBI at Repsol Lago Amargo oilfields resulting in savings of 1,9
MUSD through OPEX reduction and failure elimination.
• Increased Revenue from 2 to 8 MUSD, leading a 100 professionals team deployed in 4
countries.
Asset Integrity Principal, GIE, 1 Feb 2005 – 30 Jan 2010. Ciudad del Carmen Mexico
• Implemented a Mechanical Integrity and Reliability Program for Maritime Terminal
Pajaritos, PEMEX. I led 25 professionals to deliver on-time and on-budget, RCM programs
and RBI inspection plans resulting in 1,5 MUSD savings in non-value maintenance &
inspection tasks.
• Implemented Criticality Analysis, RBI inspection plans, and piping surveys for 150 fixed
offshore platforms at Cantarell Pemex field. The inspection plan resulted in 12 MUSD
savings through failure elimination and resource optimization.
Asset Integrity Management Consultant, GIE, 1 Feb 2000 – 30 Jan 2005. Argentina
• Implemented a system for managing small bore piping integrity in TGN gas compression
stations. Resulting in a 100% injury reduction in 2 months and an 80% failure rate
reduction in 8 months
• Developed and implemented full-scale experiments to validate RSTRENG safe pressure
calculations, and multiple sleeves interaction for TGN buried pipelines. This experiment
allowed a significant reduction in repairs resulting in 25 MUSD over 5 years.
Pressure Vessel and Piping Inspector, GIE, 2 Jan 1998 – 30 Jan 2000. Argentina
• Monitored and updated process control plans to ensure compliance with customer
specifications and industry standards.
• Maintained accurate records of all inspection activities, resulting in improved traceability
and compliance.
• Performed root cause analysis of asset defects and identified corrective actions to prevent
a recurrence.
• Conducted rigorous inspections of 20 TGN compressor stations (375kHP) and 120
metering stations resulting in 7% less unplanned maintenance.
• Lead 12 inspectors distributed in 10 states.
Research Assistant, CONICET, 1 May 1988 – 30 June 2000. Mar del Plata, Argentina
• R&D boiler chemical processes. Supervised chemical cleaning of 6 50MW boilers.
• Root cause analysis for Power and Oil&Gas customers. Corrosion testing and NDT
development.
• Assisted in writing interim reports, and research papers. Published original work.
