Set PIR Detectors as Timeout Zones*
138
What's New in Hik-Connect
You can set a PIR detector as a timeout zone, so that the detector will trigger an alarm when it
detects or does not detect person activities for a period of time that is longer than the threshold
you set.
For example, you can set up a PIR detector in the living space of persons who need extra care, and
set the detector as a timeout zone. You can get notified when the detector does not detect any
activities in a while, which might indicate that the persons are having difficulties in moving around
or cannot return to the premise.
