MINUTES OF THE QUARTERLY MUNICIPAL PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL AND MUNICIPAL ANTI DRUG
ABUSE COUNCIL JOINT MEETING OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIA, SIQUIJOR HELD ON FEBRUARY 07,
2022 AT THE MUNICIPAL SANGGUNIANG BAYAN SESSION HALL, MARIA, SIQUIJOR.

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 1:20 P.M. in the afternoon followed by an invocation lead by
Pastor Wenmar Sarupan. The chairman called the roll and found that attendees met the quorum.
The Local Chief Executive asked the updates regarding the status of the programs for Peace and
Order. He ask the PNP personel for an update on regarding with the number of drug surrenderers, the
PNP explained and dicussed on the dynamics regarding the handling of the drug surrenderers and she
also explained the documents needed for drug cleared barangay. The MLGOO also inform the council
that their will be an Information Drive Campaign Program which will be fall on March and it will
separated in 2 batches, this activity will focused on strengthening of Anti Illegal Drugs . The chair had
expressed further that the Anti Illgegal drug campaign should be strenghtened.
The PNP in collaboration with the DILG presented to the council for the approval the MPOC adopt its
concept of dynamic undertakings as its Innovation of good practices that might be one of the
contributory to the provisions of section 16 of the LGC which stated that the LGU shall maintain Peace
and Order and preserve the comfort and convenience of the inhabitants. For the presented that through
the Municipal Advisory Council, we have to implement atleast 2 Pabahay Program of Indigent and need
families using affordable housing construction.
Adjournment:
NACPHIL Wenmar Sarupan then moved to adjourn the meeting was duly seconded by ANCITO S.
LOMONGO.
With nothing to discuss the Presiding Chairman declared the meeting adjourned at 3:20 in the
afternoon.

AT THE MUNICIPAL SANGGUNIANG BAYAN SESSION HALL,MARIA, SIQUIJOR.

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 1:50 P.M., followed by a prayer and the singing of Philippine
National Antheme.
MEETING PROPER:
The Presiding Chairman gave his welcome remarks and expressed his gratitude to the members
of the Municipal Peace and Order Council who were present. He called the body for a meeting because
of the safety plans for the upcoming fiesta celebration. He then gave emphasis for the council to discuss
with all activities.
He asked the PNP representative to report to the council about the Safety Plans for the
upcoming fiesta.
PCAPT. Sario then presented to the council the plans for security measures one of those is by
deploying augmented PNP officers every corner of the street. Mr. Carino also requested that it would be
great also if we will increase Police personel visibility in escorting invited guest of the fiesta celebration.
The chairperson asked the PNP about the status of Illegal drugs activity.
After the PNP personel fully discussed regarding matters on Safety Plans of the upcoming fiesta
celebration, the August body were now given information of the said activity.
Adjournment:
NGO Ellen Balambao then moved to adjourn the meeting and was duly seconded NGO Jonalyn
Magsayo.
With nothing to discuss the Presiding Chairman declared the meeting adjourned 3:10 P.M.

27, 2022 AT THE MUNICIPAL SANGGUNIANG BAYAN SESSION HALL, MARIA, SIQUIJOR .

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 1:45 P.M. , followed by a prayer and the singing of the
Philippine National Antheme.
MEETING PROPER:
The Chair first asked the body in advance to support on every activity in relation of Peace and
Order activities. He added suggesting that PNP would prepare plans and suggestions on how to keep the
peace and order in our Municipality. He suggest a safety plan should be draft and that possible financial
necessities be listed and be requested . Local PNP answered that they will do the request of the chair.
The chair mentioned on the vigilance against illegal drug activites in the municipality. Local PNP
was acknowledge saying that number of police officers will augment in the municipality and monitoring
of possible illegal drug activities is one of the primary purpose and of course the peace and order of the
municipality.
The Chair was expecting the safety plan of the PNP to be given on the day after the meeting.

SB Member Renagin D. Maputi then moved to adjourn the meeting and was duly seconded by
NGO Wenmar Sarupan.
With nothing to discuss the Presiding Chairman declared the meeting adjourned at 2:45 P.M.

23, 2022 AT THE MUNICIPAL SANGGUNIANG BAYAN SESSION HALL,MARIA,SIQUIJOR.

The meeting was called to order at 1:45 P.M. , followed by a prayer and the singing of the
Philippine National Antheme.
MEETING PROPER:
The Presiding Chairman gave his welcome remarks and expressed his gratitude to the members
of the Municipal Peace and Order Council who were present. He called the body for a meeting for the
updates and status of Drug Surrenderers.
The Presiding Chairman ask the personel about the status of the Peace and Order during this
Covid 19 Pandemic . PCAPT Sario answered that the office of the Local Chief Executive will be given a
copy furnished of the report.
The PNP in collaboration with the DILG presented to the council for the approval the MPOC
adopt its concept of dynamic undertakings as its Innovation of good practices that might be one of the
contributory to the provisions of section 16 of the LGC which stated that the LGU shall maintain Peace
and Order and preserve the comfort and convenience of the inhabitants. For the presented that through
the Municipal Advisory Council, we have to implement at least 2 Pabahay Program of Indigent and need
families using affordable construction materials for housing construction. And this was unanimously
approved.
The Chairman also added asking a safety plan for the upcoming holidays and he include the
Safety Plan for Christmas Season in relation to the guidelines during pandemic. And list down the needs
for the operation of your plans. PCAPT Sario detailed the Safety plans for security measures of the
upcoming activities.
Adjournment:
MHO Archibald V. Inso then moved to adjourn the meeting and was duly seconded by Hon.
Renagin D. Maputi.
With nothing to discuss the Presiding Chairman decalred the meeting adjourned at 3:40 P.M.
