Describing a city

Think about your favorite city, then describe:

- Famous places (give directions to get there and explain location).


- Traditional food.
- Means of transportation to get around the city.
- A recommendation to visit it.

Target language: Unit 7, Lesson A & B

- Grammar: prepositions of place (p. 100)

My favorite sport

Do a presentation about your favorite sport:

- Describe the sport you like (what does it consist of)


- Mention an important event related to it (World Cup, Wimbledon, etc)
- Your opinion of the sport (why you like it).

- Vocabulary: sports (p. 111)
- Useful expressions: inviting and offering (p. 113)
- Grammar: verb+infinitive / verb+noun (p. 114)
- Vocabulary: personality (p. 116)

ALP Project

Rules:

- Show pictures, NO TEXT is allowed!


- Be creative! Make a PPT/Canva presentation
- Upload your ALP material in assignments /ALP (Canvas).
- Don’t read during your ALP presentation.
- Include the required grammar, vocabulary and expressions from the corresponding units.

Timing:

- Each group should make at least, a 4-5 minutes PPT/Canva presentation.


- If you work by yourself, at least, a 2-3 minutes PPT/Canva presentation.
