RESOLUTION NO.4 SERIES OF 2023

A RESOLUTION ON PROMOTINGBINCLUSIVENESS, DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND

ACCESSIBILITY OF THE RAMON TORRES ATIPULUAN NATIONAL HIGH
SCHOOL (RTANHS) SCHOOL GOVERNING COUNCIL (SGC)

WHEREAS, Pursuant RA No. 9155 known as the Governance of Basic Education

issues the Implementing Guidelines on the Establishment of School Governance
Council. This policy aims to recognize and strengthen the role of stakeholders, along
side Local Government Units, as partners in providing learners accessible and
quality education, upholding children’s rights, and promoting respect and well-being
in the learning environment to ensure effective education service delivery. The SGC
shall functions as structure for shared governance and feedback mechanism at the
school level.

WHEREAS, Procedures and processes stipulated in this Deped Order shall assist all
elementary and secondary schools in establishing their respective School Governing
Councils. The SGC shall be the overall coordinating body of all committees,
associations, organization in their schools that shall translate the principle of shared
governance enshrined in RA 9155 and contribute in strengthening the
implementation of School-Based Management.

WHEREAS, The SGC member of RTANHS promotes diversity inclusive of age,

gender, religion, ethnicity, and political beliefs deserving of equal respect and
acceptance with their respective duties and obligation and responsibilities.

WHEREAS, Member of different sector receive equal treatment to ensure fairness to

anyone without discrimination at all. Thus motivate them to do their duties and
responsibilities and become more productive.

Now Therefore, be it; RESOLVED BY THE SCHOOL GOVERNING COUNCIL to

implement relevant projects, programs and other engagements that support
and protect the needs of the learners within the school and community
ensured with equal and non-discrimination to anyone.
