RULES AND REGULATIONS

To maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the Boarding House, owners are expected
to follow the rules and regulations as stated below:

I. WITHIN THE PREMISES


 Strictly NO SMOKING & DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

II. ROOM
 No visitors/outsiders allowed. No sleepovers.
 Practice CLAYGO, Clean As You GO.
 To avoid loss/theft of your personal belongings, please make sure that they are
placed inside your room and don’t put your gadgets near the window.
 Practice common courtesy and respect individual space.

III. TOILET
 Please clean up after use. Remove fallen hair and plastics from blocking the
drainage. Throw any trash in the garbage bin.

IV. SINK
 Avoid throwing leftover foods from blocking the drainage. If you have leftovers,
please put them in the waste bin beside the sink.
 Please maintain cleanliness after use.
 Make sure the faucet is properly switched off and water is not dripping when you
leave the area.

V. KITCHEN
 Cooking should be done in the designated area only.
 Please clean after you cook.

VI. CLEANLINESS
 Please maintain a clean environment inside and outside your rooms.
 Please wipe the dining table after use. If needed please sweep the floor for any
fallen food crumbs.
 Practice CLAYGO, Clean As You Go. Your fellow boarders are not your personal
house cleaners.
 Please throw your garbage in the proper garbage bin. Practice segregating your
trash.

VII. WATER AND ELECTRICITY


 Please make sure to turn off the faucets after use.
 Please switch off the lights and electric fan when not in use.
 To avoid fire and untoward incidents, plug off electrical devices when not in use.
Also, unplug chargers before you sleep, and avoid overnight charging that may
cause overheating and may lead to a fire.

VIII. CURFEW
 Please be home at 10:00 pm sharp. Strictly NO NIGHT LIFE.

IX. SLIPPERS
 Shoes and sandals from outside are not allowed from entering. Please use
slippers for inside the house.
 Avoid using slippers from outside to inside, to maintain cleanliness.
 Slippers for inside and slippers for outside are not the same. Please be mindful.
 Remove your shoes or scrub the floor.
 Keep your shoes and sandals inside your room.

“Please do not hesitate to raise any issues and concerns regarding the boarding house
or your fellow roommates to the owners.”
