A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF VIRGILIA L. BELAS AS BARANGAY NUTRION

SCHOLAR OF BARANGAY C, BORONGAN CITY, EASTERN SAMAR.
Whereas, Republic act No. 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government code of 1991 provides that
the Local Chief Executive or the Punong Barangay has the power to appoint Barangay Nutrition Scholar
with concurrence of the majority all members of the Sangguniang concerned.
Whereas, the Barangay needs to appoint Barangay Nutrition Scholar who possess required qualification
both to the position and existing laws and regulations.
Whereas, Virgilia L. Belas has been appointed by the Punong Barangay Jessie C. Alido as agreed and
concurred by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay C, City of Borongan Eastern Samar.
NOW THEREFORE, resolved on motion of Barangay Council, the appointment of Barangay Nutrition
Scholar, BE CONCURRED BY THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY EFFECTIVE EMMEDIATELY.

A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF MARK ARWIN O. CHICANO AS BARANGAY

POPULATION GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT VOLUNTEER OF BARANGAY C, BORONGAN CITY, EASTERN
SAMAR.
WHEREAS, Section II of Executive Order No. JIDCA-012-0921 encourages to establish and maintain
Barangay Population Gender and Development Volunteer in all the barangays of Borongan City, that will
serve as the manpower and frontliner of the City Population Office in the Barangay level. The BPGAD's
will be responsible in promoting. advocating, implementing. Monitoring and evaluation of programs and
activities on population gender and development in the barangay level;
WHEREAS, Mark Arwin O. Chicano, possess the necessary qualification particularly in the submission of
reports on time; and can perform all the duties and responsibilities embodied in Sub section 10.2 Duties
and Responsibilities of Section II;
WHEREAS, the appointed volunteer will also serve as Co-GAD implementer in the Barangay level. (No.9.
Sub Section 10.2 of Section II.)
NOWTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED TO APPOINT MARK ARWIN O. CHICANO

AS THE NEW BARANGAY POPULATION GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT VOLUNTEER (BPGAD) OF
BARANGAY C, BORONGAN CITY, EASTERN SAMAR.
