doesn’t need tools.

called (Manual material handling)

• Load handling may remain on the

same level as in pushing/pulling,
turning, or carrying, or it may
involve lifting and lowering.
DISPLAYS AND CONTROLS
• Most of us have learned, through
trial and error.

• Aircraft cockpits are among the

most complex human factors
design tasks because they involve
many controls and displays.
