GRADUATE SCHOOL

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
(August to November 2022)

1. Face-to-Face Classes

a. August 2022

On September 4, 2022, the DWCC Graduate School Faculty and students attended the first 1st
synchronized face-to-face meeting for the academic year 2022-2023.

Overall, our GS school has 33 faculty members across the different fields of specialization (4 are on
leave this semester). Our faculty members who also served as the panel of examiners for the thesis
and dissertation are practitioners from the industry and other academic organizations to ensure that
we deliver quality Education that is focused on the outcomes and the real-world scenario.
For this First Semester, our GS has 327 enrollees, who are evenly distributed across the programs
of Master in Business and Public Administration, Master in Education, and Doctor of Philosophy.
This is quite a good number in the better normal.
b. October 15, 2022
Our second synchronized face-to-face meeting for the academic year 2022-2023 was held on
October 15, 2022. It was participated by 95 % of the faculty members and students. To maximize
our time, we also took this chance to celebrate Teacher's Day 2022 as one family in the Graduate
School.

2. GRADUATE SCHOOL STUDENT ORGANIZATION/COUNCIL
For the first time in the history of Graduate School, a student council has been organized to be
accredited by the school. This is to recognize the participation of students in the school's activities
and decision-making to support their well-being.

The newly elected Graduate School Student Council is headed by their President, Ms. Rhina Mae
Mendoza, a PhD student in Educational Management, and their Faculty Adviser is Ms. Mary Rose
Dilay. The election and oath-taking was properly supervised by the DWCC Director of Student
Affairs, Ms. Michelle Luzon. This important event is also witnessed by our GS faculty members.
3. FACULTY AND STUDENTS’ DEVELOPMENT

As part of the initiatives for faculty and students' development, the DWCC Graduate School held the
LEVEL- UP 2 series on September 17, 2022.

The first part of the event is the General Assembly to welcome the students and inform them of the
policies, guidelines, accomplishments, directions, and future plans of the school. The support
system- the library, finance/accounting, registration, and records, as well as student affairs, have
also discussed the different services that they have to cater to our students.

The second part is a webinar on Research Writing which is based on the perceived needs of our
students.

It was a very successful event with the active participation of students, support and efforts of our
faculty members, and involvement of the support systems alongside the credibility and excellent
performance of our very own resource speakers.

The following are the pictures and over-all evaluation of the event:
