CLASS ROOM REPORTING

I. OBJECTIVES:
1. The student should be able to explore and understand the key historical events,
discoveries, and innovations that have shaped the development of science and technology
throughout history.
2. To analyze the impact of historical figures, such as inventors, scientists, and
philosophers, on the advancement of science and technology.
3. To examine the cultural, social, and economic factors that influenced the progress of
science and technology in different time periods.
4. To develop research and presentation skills through the preparation and delivery of a
classroom report on the historical antecedents of science and technology.

II. RUBRIC

1. Accuracy? Relevance (25 points)


The report should provide accurate information about key historical events, figures, and
developments in the field of science and technology and highlighting their significance and
impact.

3. Depth of Research:( 20 points )


The report should demonstrate thorough research on the chosen topic, including a variety of
credible sources and perspectives.

4. Organization / Clarity / Coherence :(15 points)


The report should be well-structured and organized, with a clear introduction, body, and
conclusion that effectively convey the historical context of science and technology and should
be written in a clear and coherent manner, with logical flow and transitions between ideas.

5. Analysis: (25 points )


The report should include critical analysis and interpretation of the historical antecedents,
discussing their implications and relevance to the present day.

6. Engagement:(15 points )
The report should engage the audience through effective presentation skills, such as eye
contact, tone of voice, and use of technology.
