STRUCTURE

 From all the families we interviewed as a group, no family had any adopted children.
 All the families interviewed usually use both the morden ways of naming their children and
practices and the traditional way too.
 Marriage has been the common reason why women have been living their parents household
like in the case of families C and E.
 Finding work is the most common reason why men live the parents household like in the
case of family C.
 All the households we visited had people below the age of 47 atleast gone upto grade 12 or
form 5 and those that are still dependants still going to school to further their studies( aiming
to reach grade 12). Some plan to access higher education.
Economic issues

 All members of the families had at least one or more people doisng something that
contributed positively to the economic situation of the house.
 80% of the households had at 1 person in employment.
 Each household including the ones with people in employment had all members between
over the age of 20 who are not going to school involved in various small businesses.
 All members of the families in all failies interviewed in gainingful employment or
businesses were all contributing to all financial needs for their familes.
 All the familes had the ability to at least provide essential needs to its members in matters of
health care services.
 60% of the family members where capable of helping those not yet involved in financial
gaining ventures with their essential needs.
 60% of the families interviewed are able to provide for those that are in schools with books
and uniforms and other essential things a student can need, while 40% found it very difficult
to provide the essentials to the school going members.
