Sandra Cahig, guests, parents, fellow graduates, schoolmates…. Ladies and gentlemen
PLEASANT AFTERNOON TO ALL.

Today features another milestone in the lives of graduating pupils like us. It is a day of
happiness and sadness. Happiness, because after 7 long years of acquiring basic
education, we are now ready to move forward one step higher in the ladder of our quest
to greater level of educational heights. Sadness because we are leaving the portals of
our dear Alma Mater which cradled us when we were still little young boys and girls
wanting to be involved in the daily school activities.

Standing here in front of everybody, I have this feeling of pride and happiness. Because I
have proven to myself that I can be the best of what I am only if I will strive hard and
have a sense of determination and perseverance. I am also happy because all my efforts
and sacrifices were well paid off, together with my co-graduates.

First, I would like to thank our Creator for we owe everything to Him, all that we have
and all that we are, it is because of Him, as His expression of indefinite love to His
children. For without Him, all our struggles will be out in vain, sa binisaya pa, wala kitay
mahimo kon wala ang Ginoo. Maong kanunay kitang mapasalamaton Kaniya sa tanang
mga butang nga iyang gihatag sa atua.

To my beloved parents who in one way or another worked hard just to provide for me
and my siblings what we need, salamat kaayo Mama og Papa.
igsuona aron kami makaeskwela.
isulti kanamo Mama og Papa, nga bahalag mabuktot injong likod og panarbaho, basta
kay makahuman mi og eskwela tanang igsuon, kay gusto ninyo nga dili mi mapareha
ninyo nga way nahumanan, og nangandoy mo og mas better nga kahimtang para
May I
request my Mama and Papa to please stand and wave to be recognized.

To my Nanay Judy, Titos and Titas, thank you for cheering me up and encouraging me
to continue despite to all challenges I’ve encountered.

To my friends and schoolmates, we are about to part ways to find the right track that
lies ahead. We will forever cherish the memories both laughter and pain we shared
together. But I know deep within my heart we may already part ways after this, but we
will always be there in one accord chasing the impossible dreams that are planned for
us.

To our dear Alma Mater, Adlawan Elem. School, thank you very much for caring us for
seven long years. Now that we are leaving you, we cannot help but to carry with us the
victories we have with you. The Class of 2024 will bid you goodbye but the memories
will linger in our hearts. To our teachers, we are forever grateful for your sacrifices and
selfless services you’ve rendered to us. Knowledge and skills you have taught us will be
our armor and shield in facing the world with heads up high. Thank you very much for
the opportunities you have given us to develop our full potentials and abilities.

To all of you who in one way or another helped us become what we are now, our
heartfelt gratitude.

Because of you, our mentors, we were able to reach this endeavour. And, we can truly
say, “We’ve made it!”

Let’s clapped our hands for all our dedicated teachers.

Congratulations fellow graduates.

Thank you and Mabuhay.
