Glycerin Transparent Soap Base

Glycerin transparent soap base is used for the manufacture of clear cleansing bars. It
offers emollient properties due to glycerine component, combined with excellent
foaming ability and pleasant skin feel. Transparent cleansing bars are often viewed as
pure and natural due to their aesthetic impact.
Cleansing bars can be produced easily by melting the base and pouring it into moulds.
Various additives, dyes and fragrances can be added to the melted product prior to
pouring into moulds which are then cooled at room temperature.

Examples of formulation:
Perfumed Antibacterial transparent cleansing bars.
A. Transparent Soap Base : 98.00 %
Perfume : 1.00 %
Triclosan: 1.00 %
B. Transparent Soap Base : 97.50 %
Perfume : 1.00 %
Tea tree oil : 1.50 %

Procedure:
1. Melt the soap base and pour the melted soap into moulds.The transparent soap base
should be completely melted with the help of a heating bath by gently heating and
stirring up to a maximum temperature of 75°C.

2. Maintain the temperature at about 70°C and slowly add the dyes, the perfume and
additives with stirring.
3. Pour slowly into moulds avoiding aeration.
4. Allow to solidify in the moulds.
Perfumed Lotion Base or Perfumed Cream Base:
-1 liter of Lotion Base (Body) /Cream Base (Face and Neck)
-add 5 to 15ml of fragrance/essential oil
-add 10g Kojic Acid (1% to consider as skin whintening ingredient)
-add some drop of perfume grade colorant to make it more attractive.

· Add 5-10ml glycerine (if you want it to have more ingredients of moisturizers)

· Add 5-10ml carbomer (if you want it to become thicker)

· Add 5-10ml of Shea Butter/ Argan Oil/ Sweet Almond Oil/Grapeseed
