The location is the site of an abandoned architecture panel factory.

This proposal offers a repurposing of those abandoned buildings
through the creation of a new town square and refugee center.
This location is directly adjacent to the Holesovice train station
which has access to passenger rail, metro, bus, street trolley, and the street.

A market was chosen because it will be supplied with all of the goods
that are also necessary for a refugee center such as food and clothes,
this makes space conversion easy.

New development north of the site will be serviced by this new market square
and potential political or disaster refugees will be serviced by the center.
Connections are made to other important public spaces to further enhance the square.
