The 6th ISES 2024: A Global Convergence of Sustainable Energy

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 March 2024 – The 6th International Sustainable Energy
Summit (ISES) is set to take place from August 20 to 21, 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur
Convention Centre. Themed "Accelerating Energy Transition Through Innovation,"
the Summit is organised by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA)
of Malaysia, hosted by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation
(PETRA), and managed by Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

The 6th ISES 2024 marks another major step in Malaysia's ongoing efforts to cham-
pion sustainable energy transition through innovative approaches. The Summit aims
to serve as a catalyst for transformative dialogue in the regional sustainable and re-
newable energy landscape.

The biennial Summit will showcase groundbreaking sustainable solutions through in-
sightful plenary sessions and deep dive workshops by energy experts and leaders,
exhibitions and showcases by leading industry players, trade programmes, business
matching sessions, and networking opportunities with energy leaders and stakehold-
ers. These elements will converge to create an immersive experience, positioning
the Summit as a paramount knowledge-exchange platform fostering innovation and
unlocking new possibilities for impactful, future-oriented, and sustainable energy so-
lutions.

YBhg. Dato’ Hamzah Hussin, the Organising Chair of the 6 th ISES 2024 and Chief
Executive Officer of SEDA Malaysia, said, “SEDA Malaysia recognises our crucial
role in shaping the future of energy in the country. Through this Summit, we aim to
cultivate innovative approaches and technologies, steering us towards achieving the
ambitious goal of a 70% installed renewable energy capacity mix by 2050.”
