Cloud Intern

Profile Summary
We have opportunities for interns for a 3-6 months extra-curricular internship as
Cloud Interns to join our team at EPI-USE Cochin.

independent SAP HR/Payroll specialist, and designs, builds and implements
Cloud-based, hybrid and on-premises HR/Payroll systems for large, complex
multinationals. 1% of our revenue is applied to the protection and preservation
of at-risk elephants and rhinos, through a strategy that is based on poverty
alleviation. v

EPI-USE Services for AWS is an Advanced AWS Partner, providing managed

cloud services, rapid migrations to AWS, and bespoke AWS-based systems for
clients in need of reliable, scalable, and highly redundant managed cloud
infrastructure.
Responsibilities
▪ Set up and maintain cloud Linux-based services.

▪ Design, build, and maintain the system in an AWS environment supporting the
software solution deployed for the customers.

▪ Create and maintain cloud formation scripts

automating manual processes and
generating deployment pipelines.

▪ Monitor application/infrastructure performance to ensure platform uptime and

performance.

▪ Building scripts for operational automation and incident response.

▪ You will handle the schedule and processes surrounding cloud application
deployment.

▪ Deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of operating systems

(Windows, Linux), devices, software, etc.

Minimum Key Skills/Qualification

▪ BE/B Tech/BS or a degree in Computer Science /IT

▪ Solid understanding of Linux [Preferably completed a specialized course on

Linux and server administration].

▪ Knowing the basics of cloud computing, especially focusing on AWS services.

▪ Cares about what we are building and is passionate about Cloud technologies.

▪ Excellent English communication.

▪ Good ability to analyze and solve problems when it comes to figuring out and
fixing issues related to the cloud.

▪ Keen interest in discovering and learning about new cloud technologies and
being open to getting hands-on experience.

▪ Really good at working with people and being a valuable team member.

▪ Any certification in Cloud/Linux technologies.

▪ Any positions held in any organization/group (IEEE, college tech fest, arts/sports
club etc...) .

▪ Winner at any technical/sports/science/art festivals (Best manager/JAM winner,

university sports/arts winner etc...)

▪ Blogs/websites developed & maintained by you.
