Documentation Controls;
Documentation control was carried out on the presented documents. Quality control and assurance certificates were controlled
and reviewed during the inspection period.
Material certificates were presented as soft copies by the manufacturer. The certificates were reviewed and were found
sufficient.
Dimensional & final control reports were presented and reviewed for related manufacturing.
The volumetric capacity calculation report was reviewed and was found as calculated via computer.
The required welded manufacturing documents which are WPQR, WPS and WQT (welder certificates) were reviewed in the
quality dossier as soft copies and certificates were found sufficient.
Calibration certificates were reviewed for measurement gauges and the certificates were found valid.

Result: Satisfactory

Visual Controls;
The visual controls were carried out on produced items.

Material surfaces, weld seams and workmanship were controlled visually. It was observed that produced items were painted,
weld seams were controlled over the paints, and any visual defect was not observed. Several coating defects were observed
on the grabs. It was notified to the manufacturer that the required touch-up repairs are required on the related surfaces.

Dimensional Controls:
Dimensional controls were carried out on produced items. Technical drawing of grabs was presented by the manufacturer
and relevant controls were carried out in accordance with technical drawing. It was observed that the measured results were
found in tolerances as per the technical drawing.

Result: Satisfactory

Performance Test:
Performance tests were carried out by the manufacturer during the inspection period. Grabs were controlled as on/off positions
manually and the results were found as sufficient.

After the performance test, hydraulic hoses and cylinders were checked visually for leakage. It was observed hydraulic hoses
were preserved. No leakage or deformation was observed on hoses and cylinders.

Result: Satisfactory

Load Test:
Load tests were carried out by the manufacturer during the inspection period. Grab was lifted by fastening 27 tons of concrete
blocks for 5 minutes. After the load test grab was visually checked and deformation was not observed on the grab. All
components and grab were found in good condition.

Result: Satisfactory
