Operating Instructions

This RattleByte multi region upgrade board enables your Blu-Ray disc player to play BD-Video and
DVD-Video discs from all regions. While region free DVD playback is performed automatically, the
Blu-Ray region must be set manually using the player's original remote control. The following
operating instructions assume that the RattleByte multi region upgrade board has been fitted to the
player.

Setting the Blu-Ray region

Setting the Blu-Ray region can only be performed while the unit is in full stand-by.
Make sure that the Quick Start and/or Remote Start (if available) modes of the unit
are set to OFF!

● Press [ON/STANDBY] to turn off the unit.

● Press [YELLOW] to select Blu-Ray region A.

● Press [BLUE] to select Blu-Ray region B. This is the initial setting.

● Press [RED] to select Blu-Ray region C.

● The unit will power on automatically. BD-Video discs from the selected region can now be
played.

● Repeat the above sequence to play BD-Video discs from a different region.
