capacity of 3 rd officer.

As a chief officer I can say that Mr. xxxx is a self starter, detailed oriented and
did not require supervision after receiving instructions. During our time togrther
mr. xxxx handled any ongoing paperwork he had been tasked with a minimum of
instruction. All navigational aids, ECDIS/Radars/DGPS,etc. are familiar and he is
comfortable operating them. All of the safety and fire equipment he was in
charge with was always maintained and in good condition. His passion for the
job, optimistic and friendly personality served him well communicating to the
