■ What were the best and worst parts of the Senior Project/Senior Seminar? The best part of my senior project
was seeing the aftermath of the hard work and hours I put into my project and seeing how nice and cleaned up the
areas I cleared looked. The worst part of my project was my time management just trying to find days and times
to come and do some cutting and hoping that weather did not affect my time working.
■ List three things you now know after completing your Senior Project. How to properly apply chemicals to plant
stems, How to better my time managing skills and to plan and schedule ahead, not to procrastinate, and to get it
done right away, and to not procrastinate in general.
■ Which aspect of the Senior Project/Senior Seminar stretched you the most? How did you feel about and react to
this challenge? Just getting the work done in class for senior seminar I would procrastinate a lot and push it
aside and focus more on my project but end up getting caught behind in senior seminar. It was just a hard time to
focus on both and get back on track for the senior seminar and finishing my project. I felt worried and nervous as
the days came down and time ran out. I needed to get back on track and focus.
■ How has the Senior Project/Senior Seminar changed you (skills, attitudes, work habits, capabilities, confidence,
poise, presentation, etc.)? It's changed me by bettering my time management skills and helped me plan and
schedule alot more
■ Has this experience influenced your future plans? No I still plan to go to RCTC and study exercise science and
sports management possibly down the line I could find a future involving nature.
■ What would you do differently if you had to do the whole Senior Project/Senior Seminar process again? To get it
done right away and not procrastinate and to stay on track for class.
■ What advice do you have for next year’s seniors? Don't procrastinate get your project and work in the senior
seminar all done right away so you're not stressing and having to worry last second.
■ What grade would you give yourself for your Senior Project and what justification do you have for that grade? I
would give myself a B- just for my completion but I also could have cleared a lot of more areas and not have
procrastinated my project.
