11 CONTROL SYSTEM

Measurement system

Dimensional measurements are recorded in the pass through two LASER sensors that detect the profiles
of the edge of the scroll
Using the LASER dot does not introduce reading errors due to the presence of drops
of water. Traditional systems typically use CCD cameras, that reading the edge
from top to bottom are influenced by the presence of water.

The edges perpendicular to the motion are detected to pass through the scanners, ultrafast to
infrared (mounted jointly and severally with the Laser) and high-resolution encoders.

The advantage of the read (in the passage) is that the

sensors must not be moved for the direction
longitudinal, but only in width. However,
during the passage of the piece, the tile will not move and
then remains on the same transport. It is for this reason that the
length of the coupling is at least twice the max. format

12.3 Maintenance on mechanical components

ALL MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS MUST BE CARRIED OUT WITH THE MACHINE ON A FIRM AND
DE-ENERGIZED BY THE CURRENT, ELECTRIC AND PNEUMATIC.

The following table lists the mechanical components on which it is necessary to

periodically carry out maintenance.
The information relating to the precise point of focus are listed in the next paragraph.
To indicate the type of operation to be performed on the various components you adopt a system of references to
cross-link with the following symbols:

Identifies a visual check on the status of wear and tear, or the good functioning of a component.

Identifies a cleaning operation of a component or machine.

Identifies a mechanical intervention (adjustments, general repairs, replacements) from

make on the component.
Identifies a mechanical intervention (tension) on the component.

Identifies an intervention lubrication with synthetic oil, or hydraulic oil.

It is well to remember that the temperature conditions and the functioning of the various organs (even if
designed and abundantly sized) are strenuous and sometimes it is appropriate to intervene
, anticipating the time intervals, where the environmental and operating conditions are such as to induce
the decrease of the intervals themselves in the following table, in hours of work (h)
(which correspond to european standards).

n particular, it is recommended the maintenance is complete, all of the times that the production should

MAINTENANCE ON MECHANICAL COMPONENTS.
Remove from the limit switch, micro, hinges and moving parts any material in storage.
It is the responsibility of the operator to make sure that the machine is kept clean by foreign materials
such as debris, oil, or other. For this purpose it is necessary to provide the cleaning phase at the end of the round
work.
The operator, during the cleaning, it is the use of air pressure must use
suitable protection.
Drive away the people who are close to the machine, which may be invested
by the materials and dust.

It is forbidden to use flammable fluids.

Avoid the use of acids or solvents, or otherwise closely follow all the
requirements indicated on them.
During the cleaning of the machine to avoid to wet the electrical parts (buttons,
motors, limit switches, etc).

• CRUSHING between the parties moved or removed

• MATERIAL SPILLS from above or not firmly supported

• CUTS from sharp edges or sheets are not protected

• ABRASIONS / BURNS from contact with rough parts or chemicals

IT IS NECESSARY THAT THE WORKERS IN THESE OPERATIONS ARE TO WEAR THE

FOLLOWING PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT.
INDIVIDUAL

Therefore, it IS a REQUIREMENT that during the disassembly phase of being worn, the following items
of personal protective equipment.

13.2 Disposal

The dismantling and disposal of the system can be carried out by the user according to
the following procedures:
• Mark the danger area for the duration of the demolition and lifting of the
machine, prohibiting the passage of people not involved in the work.

• Stop the machine by pressing the emergency stop button, stop the power supply
through the power switch (located on the power panel), and dissect the energies at the points
provided for in chapter 4.

third parties.

- choose a means of transport, adequate to the weight of the machine or to the size of the parts to be
disposed of.

- proceed to the load of the machine on means of transport in the horizontal position.

- secure the load (in particular, if the medium used has a fund with features such as to create
a risk of slipping of the machine during transport, and then breaking down of the
barriers of the medium).

- deliver the machine and/or the materials are divided by dispose (electrical parts and cables, various filters, oil,
iron, plastic, etc.,) to the company that is authorized to pick up the waste according to the regulations
in force.
After the disassembly, it requires a breakdown of the components of the
machine itself, according to the materials of their composition; and afterwards provide for the
disposal at a licensed, AUTHORIZED AGENCIES, in full respect of the regulations in force concerning waste
themselves.

Pursuant to the Directives:

- 2012/19/EU, restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment

- where it cannot be re-used and /or considered “waste” WEEE electrical and electronic equipment do NOT
have to give into the bins of municipal waste collection.

NOTE: At the time of purchase of a new equipment, you may return it to the dealer
the equivalent used; the dealer is required to collect and manage waste operations.
In regard to risks resulting from the use of EEE are known and listed on the instructions for use
attached to individual products; and the risks associated with disposal of WEEE are due to
content in the same (e.g. metals: lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium, pvc, pcb, pbb, of substances
harmful to the ozone layer, etc.,) and to the operations of the treatment prior to disposal (e.g.
disassembly, shredding, separation and elimination of polluting fluids or powders).
Disposal via the “incineration of electronic waste should be limited to a minimum percentage (20%),
and implemented only through the authorised centres, as they enter into the environment polluting substances, and
dangerous (toxic and/or harmful) for human life.
