INTRODUCTION:

§ Plants have multiple cells that preform different functions.

§ Plants have an inelastic cell wall.

CELL WALL

§ The cell wall is the outermost boundary of a plant cell.

§ Inside the cell wall, there is a cell membrane.

CELL MEMBRANE

§ The cell membrane contains a fluid called cytoplasm.

CYTOPLASM

§ Chloroplasts,mitochondria, ribosomes ,vacuole and the nucleus are

present in the cytoplasm.

VACUOLE

§ The vacuole is large in size due to which the nucleus is pushed to the
corner of the cell.

NUCLEUS

§ The nucleus manages all the activities of the cell.

CHLOROPLAST

§ The chloroplast plays a major role in the process of photosynthesis.

PHOTOSYNTHESIS

§ In photosynthesis,the plants use carbon dioxide,water and sunlight to

produce glucose, oxygen and energy as by products.

MITOCHONDRIA

§ Mitochondria are double membrane bound organelles found in

eukaryotic cells.
