IN THE MATTER OF AN AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS OF TENDZONG
TERRENCE YIMNAI BY HIS FRIEND TENDONZE NCHANI ARNOLD
1, TENDONZE NCHANI ARNOLD, an adult male Cameroonian, holder of national I
D NUMBER 101247977 issued at Buea on 26/09/20 19, a petty trader Within Camero
on and resident in Limbe, do make oath and state as follows;
1. That I am the deponent of this affidavits of facts.
2.That TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI is my friend in Limbe and we equally do
business together.
3. That I have known TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI for over Seven years now.
4. That TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI is a petty trader with base in Limbe deali
ng in electronics and accessories.
5.That TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI was arbitrary arrested on 30th September
2022 by the security forces on plane cloth.
6. That I received a phone call allegedly from TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI inf
orming me of his detention but upon arrival at the Police Station, I was never granted a
ccess to see him.
7. He was seriously molested and beaten by two security officers (policemen) in plane
clothed.
8. That TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI was detained for a whole day without rep
resentation
9.That the police prevented friends and family members from visiting
TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI, on one occasion, I was threatened that if I come
to visit him again, I would be thrown into the cell together with him.
10. That the police refused to grant TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI unconditional
bail and only did after my intervention.
11. That TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI was denied his right to a lawyer and acc
ess to medical care while in detention.
12.That TENDZONG TERRENCE YIMNAI succeeded to escape from Limbe for the
fear of the unknown after news of being wanted by security forces plane clothed.
