MATERIALS:
Small amount of any yarn of your choice.
Circular needle long enough to do magic loop / double pointed needles to work small circumference in the round.
Tapestry needle
Button (optional)

ABBREVIATIONS AND GLOSSARY:


K: knit
P: purl
K2tog: knit 2 stitches together.
S2KP: slip 2 stitches together knit wise to the right hand needle, knit the next stitch. Then pass the 2 slipped stitches
over the knit stitch.

PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS:
Cast-on 65 stitches using long tail cast-on. Join to work in the round, be careful not to twist the stitches.
Round 1: Knit.
Round 2: Slip 1 stitch with yarn at the back, K2tog x 6. Repeat to the end of round. (35 stitches)
Round 3: Knit.
Round 4: Slip 1 stitch with yarn at the back, K2tog x 3. Repeat to the end of round. (20 stitches)
Round 5: Knit.
Round 6: Slip 1 stitch with yarn at the back, S2KP. Repeat to the end of round. (10 stitches)
Round 7: Knit.
Cut the yarn, leaving about 6 inches tail. Thread the yarn through the live stitches and pull tight.
Optionally, you can sew a button in the center of the flower.
