1. Ask Cadets if they know which row of the troop does what in the command.
2. Ask Cadets if they know the count for each row of the troop during the command.

1. Give Cadets commands of both Open and Close Order March; observe, confirm and
continue.
WHAT: During this drill lecture you will learn how to dismiss as a troop.
WHY: The drill movement will allow the troop to leave the parade square in a proper fashion.
WHERE: The dismissal can lead to the end of a training day at your HQ or any training activity
within the cadet movement.

SUMMARY: A. During this instructional period you have learned how to properly execute
the movements necessary to perform a Dismissal with or without an
officer.
B. Every time you form up, you will be dismissed eventually. So this is a very
valuable skill to know and to be able to perform properly.
