The New Normal Challenges in Face-to- Face Classes in the University

Schools and universities are finally opening campuses after two years of
acclimating students to remote learning. The reopening will be challenging to attain. The
virus is spreading quickly since it is still active. Apart from that, there are still a few
areas with higher Covid-19 and other differences. As a result, it's vital to determine
whether the student's and professor's surroundings are safe.

Within universities, a healthy and rigid protocol should be observed. Face masks,
face shields, and other personal protective equipment (PPE) are required for all
students, educators, and school employees. Apart from that, the University must
improve cleanliness and provide sufficient hand washing amenities. Maintaining a safe
or healthy environment, as well as providing sanitary services, is a demanding task that
requires a lot of effort and time. Because it is necessary to clean the surfaces of shared
things like books and facilities such as classrooms on a regular basis. Maintaining social
isolation in small groups, on the other hand, necessitates the pupils' actual presence
being coordinated and alternated.

Because not all students can attend face-to-face, such as because of the limited
number of students that a classroom can hold, social distancing, or because they reside
in high-risk locations, not all students can attend face-to-face. As a result, the University
should explore adopting an online learning delivery model. Such as upgrading the
online delivery platforms that students can utilize to ensure that they learn well, and
instructors must be regularly taught to design and conduct good lessons for conducting
online sessions.
