EDUCATION
University of California, Berkeley August 2023 – May 2024
 Master of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering: Product Design | GPA: 3.9
 Relevant coursework: Design of Microprocessor-Based Mechanical Systems, Mechanical Behavior of Composite
Materials, Robotic Locomotion, Polymer Engineering, Human Centered Design Methods
University of California, Davis September 2019 – June 2023
 Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering | GPA: 3.7 | Dean’s Honors List for 6 Quarters

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Brembo Inspiration Lab September 2023 – May 2024
Mechanical Design Engineer Berkeley, CA
 Managed, designed, and prototyped a single automotive foot pedal that combines accelerating and braking, while
acting as the main liaison between the team, Brembo, and UC Berkeley.
 Created an iterative MATLAB script that determines an optimal spring geometry given input parameters.
 Performed shaft and bearing analysis to ensure functionality and fitment.
Microprocessor Design Project January 2024 – May 2024
 Used ESP32 microcontrollers to wirelessly control a vehicle through the ESP-NOW protocol.
 Programmed the motors using ESP-IDF to autonomously avoid obstacles through ultrasonic sensor readings and
alter the duty cycle based on RSSI hotspot values.
Formula Electric at UC Davis
Lead Cooling Engineer June 2022 – June 2023
 Designed, manufactured, and tested the outboard cooling loop to prevent motor and motor controller overheating.
 Assembled the cooling loop into the drivetrain on the chassis, ensuring functionality and FSAE rules compliance.
 Wrote a MATLAB script to calculate the estimated heat dissipation and pressure drop from a Volkswagen OEM
Heater Core given varying inlet conditions by using the effectiveness-NTU method.
Drivetrain Engineer September 2019 – June 2022
 Designed the inboard differential sprocket for high voltage (HV) architecture, and differential sprocket adapter for
lower voltage architecture with design for manufacturability (DFM) in mind.
 Utilized topology studies to guide optimal cutout geometry for best stiffness-to-weight ratio, yielding ~15% weight
reduction for the inboard differential sprocket from design optimization studies.
 Performed static FEA studies in SolidWorks to determine the maximum displacement and factor of safety, and
fatigue analysis studies to verify part life.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Sutter Instrument June 2022 – August 2022
Mechanical Engineering Intern Novato, CA
 Designed an optical train in Fusion 360 for an existing microscope through reverse engineering components and
creating hybrid parts to support various microscope installations.
 Decreased CAM runtime upwards of 75% for various parts by replacing g-code with optimized operations.
