Note: Nothing in this standard supersedes .
applicable laws and regulations.
: ,
Note: In the event of conflict between the Korean
.
and English language, the Korean language shall
take precedence. 1.1 . , ,
1.1 Purpose. The purpose of this standard is to ,
determine the resistance to peeling of adhered
body trim materials e.g. leather cloth, plastic films, .
carpets, deadener pads etc. in applications which
1.2 . , ,
involve their adhesion to painted automobile body
panels, or other specified materials.
( ) .
1.2 Applicability. This standard shall be used to
determine the resistance to peeling of adhered
body trim materials e.g. leather cloth, plastic films,
carpets, deadener pads etc. in applications which
involve their adhesion to painted automobile body
panels, or other specified materials.

2 g/dm . The adhesive shall then be allowed to dry .
for 0.5 to 24 hours in air at a temperature of
+23 ±5K or as stated on the relevant adhesive
specification.
4.3.1.2 (3.1.2 )
4.3.1.2 The painted test panels (clause 3.1.2) or
other specified materials shall be thoroughly
swabbed with petroleum ether or equivalent and .
allowed to dry.
4.3.1.3 The panel shall then be coated on its 4.3.1.3 K
painted side with adhesive by means of the flat 2
bar 1.5 ~ 2.0 g/dm
brush or K bar. The amount of adhesive shall be +23 ±5K 0.5 ~ 2 .
1.5 to 2.0 g/dm2. The adhesive shall then be
allowed to dry for 1.5 to 2.0 minutes in air at a
temperature of +23 ±5K.
4.3.1.4 The test piece shall be adhered centrally 4.3.1.4
down the length of the test panel such that one end 50
of the test piece is flush with one shorter edge of mm
the test panel and the other end overlaps by .
approx. 50 mm.
4.3.1.5
4.3.1.5 The adhesion of the test piece shall be
10 mm/ 2
consolidated by placing the roller on the rear face
of the test piece and rolling it back and forth
without applying additional force along the test .
piece for 2 complete to and fro movements at a
velocity of approx. 10 mm/sec.
4.3.2 If necessary, the test pack so obtained shall 4.3.2
then be subjected to any special test conditions
.
specified.
4.3.3 The free end of the test piece shall then be 4.3.3 25 mm
peeled from the painted panel for a distance of
approx. 25 mm and the test piece folded back 180° 180° .
upon itself such that the no adhered faces are
touching.
4.3.4
4.3.4 The free portion of the test piece shall be
gripped in the lower jaws of the tensile machine
and the opposite end of the test panel in the upper . (< 3> ).
jaws. (See Figure 3).
4.3.5 The force necessary to peel the test piece 4.3.5 (200±20) mm
180° from the painted steel panel shall be recorded 180°
autographically by a force extension plot. The jaw .
separation rate shall be (200±20) mm/min.
5 Data 5
5.1 Evaluations. The peel strength shall be 5.1 .
calculated as the average of the separation force (< 1> diagram) 50 %
recorded on the force extension diagram by taking
20 mm
individual values, approx. 20 mm apart from the
diagram. For this calculation values, the central 50 % .
of the force extension diagram shall be used.
