This agreement is entered into in consideration of the payment of the Fee by each party to this letter to the
other (receipt of which is acknowledged). This agreement confirms the understanding between the Contributor
and the Producer relating to the contribution to be given by the Contributor and transmitted and/or recorded by
the Producer ("the Contribution"). The Contributor agrees to the recording and/or broadcasting and/or live
relay of the Contribution and hereby grants to the Producer all consents necessary to enable it to make the
fullest use of the Contribution throughout the universe in perpetuity by any and all means in any and all media,
whether now known or hereafter developed or discovered, without liability (save as specifically hereinafter
provided) or acknowledgement to the Contributor. The Contributor grants the Producer the right to issue
publicity concerning the Contribution and any film in which it may be included and for such purpose to use and
reproduce the Contributor’s name and photograph and recordings and/or copies of any description of the
contribution. In recognition of the needs of film production, the Producer shall be entitled to edit, copy, add to,
take from, adapt or translate the contribution as it sees fit and, in respect of the contribution, the Contributor
irrevocably waives the benefits of and agrees not to assert any provision of law known as "moral rights" or any
similar laws of any jurisdiction. The Contributor warrants and undertakes that the Contributor is fully entitled to
give the Contribution to the Producer, (b) that nothing in the Contribution will infringe the copyright or any
other right of any person, breach any contract or duty of confidence, constitute a contempt of court, be
defamatory or be calculated to bring any broadcaster into disrepute and (c) that all facts expressed in the
Contribution are, to the best of the Contributor’s knowledge and belief, true and insofar as the contribution
contains any opinions, these opinions are the Contributor’s own and are genuinely and truly held. The
Contributor shall not, under any circumstances, be entitled for any reason to rescind this agreement or to
injunct, interfere with, inhibit, enjoin or restrain the development, production, distribution, advertising, publicity
or exploitation of the Film or any and all allied and ancillary rights in the Film (and including any advertising and
publicity relating to the same). The Contributor hereby gives any consents and permissions necessary for the
purposes of the Data Protection Legislation, meaning the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and (i) unless and
until it is no longer directly applicable in the UK, the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679)
(GDPR) and any national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation, as amended or updated
from time to time, in the UK and then (ii) any successor legislation to the GDPR or the DPA in order for the
Producer to meet any of its legal and regulatory obligations thereunder. This agreement: (a) represents the
entire agreement between the parties in respect of its subject matter (b) may be validly executed in any
number of counterparts, (c) is governed by the laws of England and the English courts shall have exclusive
jurisdiction.
