2. Choose one of the titles below and write a short story in the simple past tense.
Your story should include at least five sentences, describing a past event or
experience. Be creative! You can write about a personal experience or create a
fictional story:

this is my choice: "The Day I Found a Treasure"

A while ago, during the school day when the school was over, I was heading home.
When I got home my parents were full of mystery. In the afternoon they gave me a
surprise, a dog, and that day I knew I found a treasure. I called him Cobi, he
accompanied me everywhere and in sad moments I never felt alone with his
company. We played all the time, I always hoped to get out of class quickly so I
could run, jump, with him. We saw each other grow over the years, with the
difference that the day came when I had to see him leave. However, I feel happy
because I know that this treasure I found belonged to my life.
