Surfing in Peniche
Joyce and her brother Harry were in Peniche last October for the
18th edition of the Rip Curl Pro festival.
Joyce was very excited, because Kelly Slater and Tiago Pires,
one of the best Portuguese surfers, were there and she could try
to get their autographs. It was a fantastic weekend. Joyce and
Harry are great fans of Kelly Slater´s carrier. At the moment he
is considered the best surfer in the world by other professionals.
That´s why his nick name is the King. And in Peniche he was the best for the 9 th time, at 38 years
old, competing with younger surfers from all over the world. Harry keeps practicing, because he
dreams of becoming a great surfer like Tiago Pires, or, even better, like Kelly Slater.
