I can't speak for all Canadians, but where I live the heating systems and
over extended rural grids can cause inconsistent delivery. When I worked
in small break fix shops once winter hit We got pretty steady business
replacing desktop power supplies. I'm not an electrician though, so it
could have been some kind of selection bias on my part
