b. What do they think the role of the Council should be?
c. What benefit would a national student council bring?
d. How should the Council operate?

Time: 1 ½ hours

1. What should be the role and powers of the National Student Council?
2. What are some of the positions that should be included on the Executive of a National
Student Council?
a. What would be the roles and duties of the Executives you listed?
3. Should the Executives be elected by first-past-the-post or the majoritarian system?
4. How long should the term of each Executives last and should there be term limits?
5. Should there be a recall process for members of the Executive?
6. What are some of the advantages you think would come about from having a national
student body?
7. Should the National Students Council be registered as an NGO?
8. How often should the Council meet?
9. What communication channels do you think the Council should utilize?
10. Are you willing to help students at the lower school level?
