The Control Unit

The control unit consists of micro-controller and the comparator.

Other components are., transistor and the relay that does the switching

The micro-controller is the mother of the control unit. It controls

other hardware components such as the transistor, seven segment
attached to it, based on the information received from the comparator.

Below is a table that tabulates the inter-relation in the control unit.

TRANSISTOR TO RELAY COMMUNICATION.

Only the 1111 signal sends low signal or 0 to the transistor and switches
off the relay thereby turning off the main ac voltage source.

The 0000 signal too sends I (a positive signal) to the transistor to switch ON the
relay and starts the pump motor.
