AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL SEAL OF BARANGAY ARIOSA,

MOLAVE, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, PRESCRIBING THE USE AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR
UNOFFICIAL AND UNAUTHORIZED USE THEREOF

Whereas, the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Ariosa, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur
recognized the need to have a logo/seal that will represent the principles and aspirations of the
Sangguniang Barangay and the whole community;

Whereas, the Sangguniang Barangay is likewise necessary to identify official transactions and
documents of the Sanggunian;

Now therefore, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Ariosa, Molave,

Zamboanga del Sur, as follows:

Section 1. Official Logo/Seal. The official logo/seal of Barangay Ariosa, Molave, Zamboanga
del Sur shall be as depicted below:

SYMBOLS AND REPRESENTATIONS

o 4 STAR – it represent the puroks: 1,2,3 and [];4
o Straight road – it represent the way to progress
o Buildings – it represent the development of a barangay soon
o Flag – it represent the nationalism of a Barangay
o Mountain – it represent a trials and failure.
o Sun rays – it represent a hope to progress
o Carabao and Man – it represent a hardwork in our barangay official and the constituents
o Rice, corn and fish – it represents a source of income.
 o Wheat – it represents the knowledge of a leadership
o Ribbon – it represent the creation

Section 2. Purpose of the Seal. The official logo/seal of Barangay Ariosa, Molave,
Zamboanga del Sur shall be for official purposes only. It shall appear in all official documents of the
Barangay and in circumstances where the Sangguniang Barangay permits the use thereof.

Section 3. Unauthorized Use of Logo/Seal. It shall be unlawful for any person, natural or
juridical, to print the official logo/seal of the barangay for purpose of sale, distribution or circulate,
manufacture, publish, use, display or offer for sale any document or items, merchandise which
stimulate the official logo and seal of the barangay without the express written consent of the
Sangguniang Barangay..

Any violation of this provision shall be punishable subject to the discretion of the courts.

Section 4. Separability Clause. In the event that a part of this ordinance be declared invalid,
the remaining provisions not declared so shall stand effective.

Section 5. Repealing Clause. Any ordinance or measure found to be inconsistent with this
ordinance shall be deemed repealed.

Section 6. Effectivity. This ordinance shall be effective upon its approval.
