JESUS ON THE CROSS

But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive

them; for they do not know what they
are doing.” AND THEY CAST LOTS, DIVIDING
UP HIS GARMENTS AMONG THEMSELVES.

LUKE 23:43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you,

today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

When Jesus then saw His mother, and

JOHN 19:26 the disciple whom He loved standing
nearby, He *said to His mother, “Woman,
behold, your son!”

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out

with a loud voice, “ELOI, ELOI, LAMA
SABACHTHANI?” which is translated,
“MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU
FORSAKEN ME?”

JOHN 19:28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things

had already been finished, in order to
finish the Scripture, *said, “I am thirsty.”

Therefore when Jesus had received

JOHN 19:30 the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!”
And bowing His head, He gave up
His spirit.

JESUS ON THE CROSS

And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice,

LUKE 23:46 said, “FATHER, INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT
MY SPIRIT.” Having said this,
He breathed His last.
