LESSON PLAN OBJECTIVE

Mathematics 1 : Quarter 1

Topic: Two Dimensional

shapes and their
feature
Curriculum Content
Standards:
The learners show ongoing development in their
ability to recognize basic two-dimensional shapes
like squares, rectangles, and triangles. They can
also recognize these shapes in various sizes and
orientations, compare and contrast two-
dimensional shapes based on characteristics like
sides and corners, and compose and disintegrate
triangles, squares, and rectangles.
Curriculum Performance
Standards
The learners are able to identify and distinguish
simple 2-dimensional shapes.
Lesson Objectives:
1 2
Identify different two Compose new shapes
dimensional shapes using two
such as squares, dimensional shapes
rectangles, and (e.g combining
triangles. triangles and
rectangles to form a
house)
Lesson Objectives:
3 Recognize and describe two dimensional
shapes in real world objects and images
Conclusion
The students demonstrate continuous progress
in their ability to identify fundamental two-
dimensional shapes such as squares, rectangles,
and triangles. They are also able to identify
these shapes in different sizes and orientations,
compare and contrast two-dimensional shapes
based on attributes like sides and corners, and
construct and deconstruct triangles, squares,
and rectangles.
