SUBJECT : WAGE ORDER NO. NCR 24

Enclosed please find Wage Order No. NCR 24 effective July 16, 2023 granting Php 40.00
increase in the basic wage per day to employees earning minimum wage.
Also enclosed is schedule (A) showing the following:
A. List of staff
B. Daily wage of each staff
C. Mandated increase on affected staff
D. Daily wage of each staff after mandated increase
E. Increase to correct distortion for staff not affected by mandated increase
F. Daily wage of each employee after mandated increase and to correct distortion
Based on the schedule, the next lowest daily rate presently is Php 613.42 which has only Php
3.42 difference with that of the new minimum wage of Php 610.00. Total monthly increase is
Php28,697.70 (Php18,000.00 for affected and Php10,697.70 for unaffected). The difference of
Php10,697.70 representing increase to correct distortion can be recoup by the income
generated from maintenance and housekeeping services incurred monthly. Please refer to
schedule B.
In the spirit of fairness and to avoid discontent among the staff, recommend approval to give
increase to correct distortion to other staff members not affected by the mandated increase.
