Our lives have been surrounded by social platforms, especially gen z who has known social media

since birth. Even though these platforms seems to give bad impacts to gen z’s, but gen z actually has good
influence for marketing purchases in social media platforms. Which causes e-commerce market to grow
with the help of influencers in social platforms such as instagram. In my opinion, Tiktok is the reason of
drastic changes in diversity and advertising. Mens are using black nail polish, earings, makeup, and woman
costumes in Tiktok. They even called it a trend and this trends are all over the world, I’m even used to see
people follow these trends. As for advertising, these days influencers use platforms like youtube shorts,
Tiktok, and Instagram IGTV just to post a 60 second video for commercials and content. This 60 second
video are actually liked by many gen z’s and they can watch these short videos for 4 hours a day, they
believe that short videos can create immersive experiences. It’s also easier for them to remember
commercial brands, gen z’s prefer “just get to the point” advertisement than a hour video of promoting
the brand. Same as content where gen z’s love dramas with no context, they like something that is
exaggerated.
