INTRODUCTION

Tata motors limited is a multinational automotive corporation headquarters in


Mumbai, India. Ita was founded by JRD TATA in 1945.
Tata motors is India' s largest automobile company with revenue of rupees 9,274
crore in 2010-11. It is the leader in commercial vehicles. The company is the
world fourth largest truck manufacturers, the world' s second largest bus
manufacturers and employees 50000 workers . Since first rolled out in 1954 ,
Tata motors has produced and sold over 4 million vehicles in India.

Tata motors is a dual listed company traded on both the Bombay stock exchange
as well as on the new york stock exchange. Tata motors in 2005 was ranked
among the 10 corporation in India with an Annual revenue exceeding INR 320
billion. In 2010, Tata motors Surpassed Reliance to the popular title of India most
valuable brand in an annual survey conducted by finance and economics.

Tata motors has auto manufacturing in Jamshedpur, Lucknow, pune , Argentina,


south Africa, Thailand etc.

Purpose of Research-

To understand the customer satisfaction level of Tata motors. Tata motors group
continuously assess customer needs to develop new and innovative products.
Which delivers better value to its customers in pursuance of this strategy, the
company has developed significant in - house capabilities and worth with a range
of partner to keep its products profile rich and meet Market expectations.

Methodology :

The purpose is to describe the process involved in research work . This includes
the overall research design, data collection method, the field survey and analysis
of data. This was filled with comparative study analysis , several graph and table
were prepared.

which will give us feedback on marketing strategies.

it's passenger vehicles globally, Tata motors declared lionel Messi as their brand
ambassador. It also signed film business. Tata motors is the prime sponsor of
many Businesses it helped in creating awareness about its new event tata Tiago

WEAKNESS OF THE COMPANY:-


● Tata has not a good foothold in the luxury car segment in its domestic
Indian market.
● Return on investment on Tata motors shares in low.
● The company's passenger car products are based upon 3 and 4
generation platform which put Tata motors Ltd. at disadvantage with
competition in car manufacturers.
● Weak marketing skills.

ABSTRACT:-

Department of commerce, Shibli National College conducted a 30 days survey


camp for III year students of commerce as part of the university academic
curriculum for 5 semester of bachelor of commerce. The objective of the survey
camp was to make us gain experience in this field by performing the survey in
the agencies.The large portion of this course covered the company's profile. The
main objective of surveying was to update our practical knowledge.Surveys
provide a critical source of data and insights for everyone engaged in the
information economy from business to media to government and academics.

The report reflects methodology, observation and calculation made by the


student in the camp with the corresponding drawings. The large portion of this
