Symptom

You are using my inbox fiori app and you are seeing duplicated work items(or triplicated). Also the tile count
is doubled (Or triple).

Environment

• SAP NetWeaver 7.4

• SAP NetWeaver 7.5
• S/4HANA all releases

Reproducing the Issue

1. Log in the fiori launchpad

2. You see the tile count doubled compared to the work itmes ammount in SBWP in backend

3. If you open the app you can see each work item duplicated.

Cause

Sometimes the cause is that the taskprocessing V2 service has assigned 2 different system alias that are
using the same RFC, So the source of tasks is the same and it returns doubled tasks.

Resolution

1. Open /n/iwfnd/maint_services tcode in Gateway system

2. Check the taskprocessing v2 service system aliases
3. Go to SPRO and look for "Manage SAP System Aliases" by using the search functionality. Select the
"configuration" In Area entry.
4. Ensure the system aliases are using the correct RFC to your backends system.
5. In case you are using system aliases with the same RFC you will see duplicated tasks as the source is
the same.
6. Remove one of the system aliases for the taskprocessing v2 service as it does not make sense
retrieving the tasks twice.
